Please add any other comments concerning beverage products:

  1. A larger selection of soda would be great!
  2. Actually I think it would serve well if the school did offer oth brands of pop.
  3. As a rule I do not drink soft drinks and it doesn't affect me at all.
  4. Beer would be nice!!! :)
  5. Both companies sounds like great idea
  6. Both Pepsi, and Coke would be nice.
  7. bottled spring water
  8. bottled water would be good also
  9. Campus needs more variety especially considering that some people do not care for soda.  I would like to see more things like Arizona or sobe green teasand other teas along with Sobe fruit juices. THANK YOU.
  10. Could have cans of juice.
  11. Could you send the results of this survey to the students.
  12. Definetly have to have mountain dew, its the most widely liked soft drink.
  13. Even though there may be a few small benefits to Pepsi, in the long run I think staying with Coke would be a positive move.  There are so many choices under the Coca-cola umbrella, I just couldn't see the selection matched by Pepsi.  Lots of people drink Mountain Dew but not everybody.
  14. Exclusive contracts given to either company should result in the donated "scholarship" money being distributed proportional to students enrollment numbers.  Athletics should only get the percentage that their students are in the campus population.
  15. Fill up the machines more often!
  16. fountain pop is best
  17. Gatorade, it is better than powerade. Water sucks gatorade is better!
  18. Get more juice machines or choices, not just pop.
  19. Get pepsi in here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I need my mountain dew!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Get Pepsi!! we all want Mt. Dew!!! that way we can also have 7up for when we get sick!!
  21. GET SOME TWO-LITERS in stock at morsals
  22. Go for the $$.  if someone wants an exclusive and are willing to pay for the privilege, let's take the $$ and improve our school
  23. Have a sign indicating who reimburses for "lost money" within a machine.
  24. Hope you do both. Because if you do not have COKE on campus would bring from home or drink water
  25. I do not understand why Coke has a monopoly on beverages at the university.  It seems to me that competition with Pepsi would keep prices down and give the students a much needed choice in choosing what they drink. I do not mind some of the Coke products, but I have to go out of my way to choose something else other than Coke.  If Powere Aide is the only sports drink why can't Gatoraid be offered as well.  It is a far superior product.
  26. I don't believe that any prices in any vending machines should increase due to the fact that EVERYTHING in Morsels is way over priced, and we are students...every little penny counts right now...This shouldn't even be a topic of discussion.
  27. I don't like to drink pop.
  28. I feel as though more people enjoy Pepsi products more than Coke.
  29. I feel that Pepsico products are much better and would love to see pepsi distributers on campus.
  30. I feel there is a need for a Pepsi machine in this school.
  31. I feel we should have both Pepsi and Coke products.
  32. I for one hope we stay with coke products.
  33. I hate coke, LOVE PEPSI!!!!
  34. I like both Coke and Pepsi products, so it doesn't make any difference to me.
  35. I like buying bottled water from vending machines.  I don't and won't buy pop. I think you should promote bottled water instead of pop.  Pop is really not good for people to drink.
  36. I like coke products better than Pepsi Products. I like how you guys do the whole pop situation here at UMC
  37. I like juice and would prefer to spend my money on a can of  juice than a can of pop.  I have been to several places where they have juice machines just like pop machines. Welches makes canned juice.  UMC should look into this.
  38. I like Mountain Dew the best and would prefer the 20 oz bottles. I would pay up to a dollar for the bottles.
  39. I like my pop
  40. I like products from both companies and I think others do too.  If we could have them both on campus with no extra cost to the university I would say great.  If it becomes a big hassels to have both I would say then pick coke.
  41. I like the set up the way it is. 12oz. and 20oz. machines. COKE
  42. I only drink Coke products. So for me to spend money on Campus for pop and food snacks there would have to be coke machine on Campus.
  43. i prefer pepsi over coke
  44. I really think we should have both Pepsi and Coke Products here.
  45. I really think we should support both products.  No company should be able to have a monopoly on the market.  A little competition never hurts.
  46. I think both, Coke and Pepsi Products should be available to the Campus.
  47. I think Coke products should stay at UMC.
  48. I think it is idiotic that there is only coke products on this campus...everyone should have the ability to choose if they want coke or pepsi products.  It's not right!  I don't care if coke is cheaper...in the long run, it all evens out because people are happier and buy more.  It's not good marketing strategy to only have one brand available!
  49. I think it would be nice to have Pepsi products in the vending machines instead of Coke.
  50. I think it would be nice to have pepsi products on campus vs coca cola.
  51. I think it's pretty sad that a University only has Coke.
  52. I think that it would be a good idea to have both of the soft drinks brands on campus so that there is more of a selection for both the students and the faculty as well.  I do not think that a slight price increase will affect anyone.
  53. I think that most students would be willing to pay a little fraction more in order to have a larger variety of beverages on campus.
  54. I think that the products that we have in morsels are good in variety.  You also have to think about those of us who do not drink pop but drink water and fruit juice.  The powerade and apple juice are good substitutes for pop.
  55. I think that UMC should have both kinds of products.
  56. I think that we should be able to have both products available to us.  It would also help keep costs down because they would be competing with each other
  57. I think that we should have Pepsi products on campus.  Just to make everyone happy, including me.
  58. I think the college should have both products here.  If that is not a possibility the college should have a two week trial period and see which product sells better.
  59. I think there is a small percent of student who like pepsi products and if you raise the price on pop in vending machines, no one will buy from vending machines or morsels
  60. i think they should offer both pepsi, and coke products
  61. I think we should have both Pepsi and Coke machines.
  62. I think we should have Pepsi and Coca Cola products offered here, so everyone can drink the type of soda that they enjoy the most.
  63. I think we should have the choice between soft drinks. I believe it would create more revenue for the school and be more desirable to students if the school sold 20oz bottles.
  64. I understand better why nations go to war after watching this process from a distance.  Hopefully all parties involved can be fair, respectful of one another's needs and goals, and maintain campus relationships.  We should be considerate of the various agendas, but not let one entity overtake all others.  Whatever happened to compromise or seeking win/win options?  "Why can't we all just get along?" -xxxxxxxx  Does he work for Pepsi?
  65. I want pepsi products to be sold in this school.
  66. I won't drink anything other than Dt. coke in a can.  Please don't replace it with Pepsi.  That would be awful.  Thanks.
  67. I would like to have the option of both Pepsi and Coke products
  68. I would like to see both pepsi and coke products on campus.
  69. I would like to see bottled water sold in the machines.
  70. I would like to see more juices and powerade than pop.  Pop is an easy thing to grab, but drinking to much can help lead to a weight problem.  Juice or powerade is more suitable.
  71. I would like to see pepsi machines
  72. I wouldn't mind having Pepsi products but please don't take away the Coke products.
  73. I'd like to see more Juices and GATORAID   AVAILABLE
  74. If 20 ounce bottles where available then I would be more than willing to pay more.
  75. IF it costs 35 cents at a supper market for a can of pop from a machine, why should it be that much more to get a choice here?
  76. If pop is a penny over $.50 I will for sure bring my beverages in by bulk.  PLA
  77. If we are to pay $.05 more for a choice of Coke or Pepsi, let us save that money and just go with Coke.
  78. If we go to 20 ounce bottles I see no reason not to pay 1.00 per bottle. There is no fuss with change.
  79. If we had more competition with both companies represented couldn't that conceivably push the cost down rather then raising it?
  80. If we have bottles more available then there would be less spills and they are easier to throw in your bag and go.
  81. If we stay with cans, greater efforts should be made to use recycling canisters in the hallways.
  82. Is it possible to have both companies provide beverage products?
  83. It would be nice to also have pepsi products
  84. It would be nice to have a choice between Pepsi and Coke. I feel that Coke is offered around this area in restraunts and other places way more than Pepsi, and Pepsi, especially Mt.Dew is probably the most widely drank soda of college students. that is all!!!
  85. It would be nice to have a choice of pepsi or a coke product. Instead of just one choice. You would be making money if you had that choice. Alot of people get tired of one choice and end up going to Hugos or somewhere else to get the desired pop.
  86. it would be nice to have pepsi products here, i dont really care for coke products
  87. It's nice to have the selection that you do.  In addition, it is also nice to have the choice of cans or bottles.  If you were to go one or the other...COKE, COKE, COKE.
  88. JUST THAT WE NEED MORE FLAVORS SUCH AS STRAWBERRY,ORANGE,GRAPE ETC
  89. keep surge and coke
  90. Keep the price of 20 oz products under $1.  ANything more thn that is just a hassle!
  91. keep the prices cheap it keeps the business on campus and it's nice to get cheap products when we aren't rich to begin  with
  92. Make this a wet campus
  93. maybe station a pop machine in every floor of the doorms, in the lobby or somewhere.
  94. Mello Yello is always out.
  95. More selection for those who do not like soft drinks and prefer juice
  96. MOuntain Dew tastes better in a can.
  97. My suggestion would be to go the company that supplies the best financial dollar value for our campus and athletic programs.
  98. N/A
  99. need to fill the machines more. they always seem to be out!!
  100. No other comments
  101. Offering both brands would be nice for the amount we pay for products in morsels and for our meals in the cafeteria.
  102. Pepsi is the choice of the new generation
  103. Pepsi products are alot better than coke products. If we can't have both then just have Pespi
  104. Pepsi products would sell alot better. and people would be willing to pay more for pepsi products.
  105. PEPSI PRODUCTS, please
  106. Pepsi would be good investment
  107. Pepsi would be very good to have on campus.
  108. Please get Diet Mountain dew, I am an addict
  109. Please get Pepsi machines here so I can have my Mountain Dew.  If we keep the Coke machines, please add Mello Yello to more of them.  Over half of the machines don't have that as an option because it has been replaced with Surge.  Surge is not the same as Mello Yello, not even close.
  110. please get pepsi products on this campus
  111. please make this campus a free market !
  112. Power Aid is Great
  113. Put at least one kind of 100% juice beverages in each machine for people that like natural stuff.
  114. put mountain dew and pesi in the cafeteria
  115. Refering to question #4, I would equally desire both types of Vending Machines because I like having both options
  116. the added monies from these companies should be given to some of the ag teams (I.S.H.A riding team, judging teams etc.) not just for athletes....
  117. The amount of market on campus should have both Coke and Pepsi willing to put in machines that distribute cans at 50 cents or bottles at $1 I know both companies would still be making money and it would also allow the students choice.
  118. The coca-cola company's products have lots of carbon dioxide in them, I preffer pepsi products becuase it's smooth and mountain dew is my favorite.
  119. the juice in the mess hall is always to sweet it seems like it just is not mixed right at the bottom of your cup u always have this thick surup
  120. THE MACHINES ARE GREAT RIGHT NOW SO I DON'T SEE A NEED FOR A CHANGE.
  121. the vending machines in the dorm buildings for the pop shouldnt be $0.90, they should be the same as the others...
  122. There isn't much variety how it is right now.
  123. There should be a juice machine or two.  It is a nice alternative for those of us who prefer not to drink soft drinks very often.
  124. There should be no increase in price per can of pop.
  125. They should also have pepsi in Morsels
  126. Thief River Falls got a new scoreboard and a sizable scholarship from Pepsi
  127. Use two slots for popular brands and try to eliminate brands not used very often.  For example:  Two slots for perhaps Dr. Pepper and eliminate Citra.
  128. we are already paying enough for books and other things! we should not have to pay an arm and a leg for a can of pop to study!
  129. We need pepsi products every one in this world loves  Mountain Dew.
  130. We need Pepsi products!!!
  131. we want pepsi products please
  132. whatever is cheapest
  133. When re-bidding for Pop remember the deal we have with Coke.  Student Activities gets free pop every month.  I wish to keep this program running.
  134. who cares this is a waste of time.
  135. Why do we have to pay more to have both product lines?  Your current snack vendor, A & H, can provide both in the same machines for the current price of .50 per can.  I suppose they can't match the obscene commission rates that have been paid as of late to universities, etc., but it is worth discussing.  If awarded the pop sales, they would be more apt to negotiate higher commissions on the snack sales, for pop sales are where the real $ is made in vending.  Give them a call @ xxx-xxx-xxxx
  136. You should change to PEPSI products!!!
  137. You'd make a mint selling Mt. Dew
