NARRATIVE COMMENTS:

  1. I think that students need to know more about SLC. You never hear what SLC is about. I do not hear about Student Forum vrey much either.
  2. UMC needs to make better, or more interesting events for the students to take part in. We need to invest more money in better bands and more frequent events for the students take part in.
  3. a seperate room for studing a lone. transportation for students that live in town. and classes offered a convenet times for students
  4. Alot of my money is going to a poor cause as you can see with my above answers.
  5. Athletic Scholarships should be helped out alot more, Weight room activities should be kept, door open when suppose to be More campus activities, dances, live bands, etc.
  6. Extra Curricular activities are very important to me and most students. Try to keep the cost to a minimal. Have fun raiser. And so on
  7. I am overall satisfied with the way that things are, I don't think that any extreme changes need to be made
  8. I didn't get in the yearbook last year. This is my third year. That is my only complaint.
  9. i don't think that Regal's report needs to be put out weekly, i think that it could be more like every other week
  10. I feel that there should be more money allocated for the clubs and organizations. I also feel that there should be less money toward student health due to the fact that the nurse is very seldomn there when she is needed.
  11. I haven't been to one athletic game yet this year and yet I have to pay $36 for this.
  12. I just wanted to say that the services I'm dissatisfied with is because of the way they spend their money.
  13. I like to see that you guys actually care what we think.
  14. I really feel that student pay too much for very little. For instance, the fitness center is in poor shape, and run down. The meal program is terrible too...but that is another subject.
  15. I sure hope my opnion will mean something.
  16. I think all of these fees are well worth it EXCEPT for intramurals, but that is just because I don't feel things are run very fairly or smoothly to those who participate.
  17. I think for some activities it should be pay as you use. Example thee fitness center. Not all students use this so why should everyone have to pay.
  18. I think if a student wants to pull out of school, they should'nt have to pay for thier credits that they never even got!!
  19. I think that it really stinks that I have to pay 36.00 a quarter for sports. I am an academic person and I do not care abouut sports. Nobody else gives money to me to excel my academics.
  20. I think that the bede gameroom could stand some basic Maintenance, like dusting, and replacing light bulbs.
  21. I think that the year book is a big waste of time but each to his own some may like it. The medical is needed greatly the other I guess I just don't use.
  22. I would like to know when the yearbooks for the 1996-97 school year are going to be handed out. I haven't been able to find that out and no one I've talked to knows either.
  23. I would like to see the gym open for students to get together and play some basketball. The gym is always locked up and for the money we pay it should be open to the student population more often.
  24. I'd like to see a stronger Christian Ministry program.
  25. I'm a student who takes eight credits per quarter. The survey said the Fitness Room Fee pays for membership at the Fitness Center. I pay $40 every three months for membership. Does a student have to take 12 credits before he is eligible for free membership?
  26. If we are being charged for the physician/nurse etc. than why do we get charged for an "office visit" when we see him??
  27. If we are going to have a cheer team and a pep band, it should be a better one. I think that we need better equipment in the weight room and possibly a bigger facility where everything isn't so crowded.
  28. It seems like alot to have to be paying ever quarter, if it was a yearly fee it would be more understandable.
  29. It would be nice if the Bede info desk was open more often it seems like every time I go there it is closed!!
  30. it would be nice to see IHSA supported - they may not compete as separate male/female teams, but it is a competition just the same and some people who would like to be able to show are not able due to the VERY HIGH cost of going to even one of these shows
  31. it would be nice to see the IHSA horse show team supported since the students have to pay for all thier own expenses and the football teams ad other athletic teams get more funding.
  32. Keep total quarterly fee at or below its present level, please. Thank you for offering a survey.
  33. More MONEY TO THEATER AND CHOIR>
  34. No commment.
  35. nothing to me it is just fine.
  36. One thing that needs to be addressed is lighting on campus and the time the electicity is on for the electrical outlets.
  37. Pay to much for the student nurse.
  38. School program changes and parking restrictions
  39. Some of the categories I have not used such as the annual with pictures I have still yet to see one of those at all here on campus and I have been here for two years. Anyways majority fo he categories I believe run quit well.
  40. Something to get more people to come out and support the football and basketball programs at home games.
  41. Still haven't seen a yearbook from last year, if I am paying for it I would like to see it.
  42. The activity fee isn't a bad thing to pay for, but I think that the Technology fee should be lowered and students should be able to put the money towards the purchase of one.
  43. The athletic fee is to damn high.
  44. The fitness center is very unacomidating. The equipment is old and the hours are not accomidating.
  45. The one thing that I would like to see more of is like racquetball tournaments and pool tournaments just to get more students involved in activities.
  46. They need to provide day care for students and faculty before the rest of the community! I have been on a waiting list for five months and still no word! I live out of town and currently have no way of knowing whether my daughter gets sick.
  47. Use the money to promote Sno-Daze and homecoming events better. Put up pictures of people that are nominated for these events. Very little is done to let people know what is going on.
  48. We are paying for a yearbook that we haven't got and a cheer team that isn't even in production.
  49. We have no cheerleaders, The Pepband needs improvement
  50. We need more school spirit at sporting events!
  51. What about student dining.....students didnt have a chance to comment on that...that should have been a good oppertunity to do so.
  52. You must get the windows fixed in Bede. They are real drafty and shades would be a bonus.
